When nostalgia becomes a business.
There are flavors you never forget. The warm puff puff sold by that old lady on the street corner. The fresh yogurt from the morning market. The cold bissap shared with family after a meal. Those tastes you won’t find them in Canadian supermarkets.
When I left Cameroon and settled in Toronto, the street food I grew up with was what I missed the most. Not just the taste,but everything it stood for: togetherness, warmth, authenticity and flavours. The idea that food can tell a story.
It was that longing and a desire to share it with Toronto that gave birth to The Cultured Cream Company in March 2025.

Every product we make starts with a refusal: the refusal to do things halfway. Our signature yogurt is slow-fermented for a full 8 hours, using whole milk at 3.5% fat, natural flavors, and a firm commitment to zero preservatives. No shortcuts. No hidden additives.
Our puff puff are kneaded by hand, one by one. Our meat pies are filled with 100% lean ground beef seasoned with that african spices. Inside a flaky pastry that shatters at the first bite. And our bissap? That’s the drink we serve when we want you to feel truly welcome.
